This is the moving story of his high school friend, United States Marine Corps. combat photographer Cpl. William T. Perkins, Jr., the only combat correspondent in our nation’s history to receive the Medal of Honor. Cpl. Perkins sacrificed his life to save his fellow Marines in Vietnam October 12, 1967.

As the crowd of thousands assembled for the beginning of the march to the Federal Building in San Francisco, and just after the playing of John Lennon’s “Imagine”, the gathering was rocked by a new anthem for the new millennium, the inspiring “World on Fire”, title track from WORLD ON FIRE – SONGS FOR PEACE by Craig Ingraham and Rob Moitoza, followed by the hilarious track “God is Green” and the hard-rocking “Rage”. The tunes were so well received that after the various speakers had done their part to enlighten and motivate the crowd, they were energized once again by the driving rhythms and thought-provoking lyrics of the new album WORLD ON FIRE – SONGS FOR PEACE which was played almost in its entirety as the marchers moved out of sight.
